So, I'm still learning how to draw apparently. Or at least how to draw decently. I'm really working to get better at what I do, which is draw and write, and for a while, I got into a funk. I didn't wanna do anything, I didn't want to face possible criticism, but slowly, I over came that. I've been watching instructional videos on how to draw anatomy, which is a big help, and studying different styles. My latest work, My Monster, came from experimenting with lights and shades, as well as Photoshop Elements. I'm really trying, and I can see myself working forward a little at a time.

So, I don't know if anyone will read this, but if you do, could you tell me what you like, what you don't like, and maybe a tip on how to expand my reach? I'd appreciate any feedback at all, even if it's just a "Hey, keep going, you're doing great!".

Thanks :)

The impression I'm getting from looking at your gallery, is that your art skills are advanced for a beginner, especially your shading.

Take Schlafen Sie ruhig, mein Kind for example, I wouldn't have known that you were a beginner artist from looking at it if you hadn't mentioned it in this journal, I thought you would have had 2-3 years of art experience from looking at it.

I'm better at giving praise than critique, but I guess the last thing I want to say is that in Watch him go the woman's head looked a bit too big, so my advice is to watch your proportions. Other than that I have no other critiques :)
